Fix Your Content Day – November 10, 2026

On Tuesday, November 10, The University of Alabama is joining with institutions around the world for Fix Your Content Day 2026 (FYCD), hosted by Blackboard Ally. One day, one global leaderboard, and one goal – make our course content more accessible, together. Register to receive tips and reminders as we approach FYCD.

Here’s the fun part: every accessibility fix you make in Ally counts toward our campus total. Add alt text, clean up a heading, swap a scanned PDF – it all adds up fast, and you’ll be able to watch our ranking climb in real time on the public leaderboard.

What to expect over the next two weeks:

  • A short reminder next week with some high-impact strategy suggestions
  • A final nudge the day before the event
  • On November 10, we fix as much as we can, as a campus, in 24 hours – no sign-up required, just log in to Blackboard and go.
  • If you want to join us on November 10 in-person or online for hands-on help, educational sessions, or just camaraderie, register for UA’s Fix Your Content Day events.

Want a head start? Peek at your courses now for red (low score range) and orange (medium score range) accessibility indicators in Ally, so you know exactly where to strike first on the big day.

Curious how this all got started? What began as a small, but mighty idea has grown into a global movement – read the origin story: Fix Your Content Day: How a 24-Hour Challenge Sparked a Global Accessibility Movement.
